Lyrics
Verse 1
Pastor buy jet with the offering bag, congregation dey trek come church
Prophet dey sell anointing oil, forty thousand naira for one small touch
I no dey talk say God no dey real, I dey talk about the men in between
Dem dey stand for pulpit, dey point una finger, dem pocket dey scream
Chorus
Religion na scam if the collection na the sermon
Religion na scam if the poor man dey learn
God never send anybody to come hold your hand for ransom
So make we pray small, and count our money proper
Verse 2
My grandmother believe with her whole small heart, she no get to prove
She give her last change for the basket, she dance for the groove
I no fit shout for her faith, na the only light she carry
But I go shout for the man wey dey use her faith to marry three wife for Dubai
Bridge
If the message be love, why the bill dey come with threat
If the message be free, why my grandma still dey in debt
I no dey vex for heaven, na the middlemen I dey call
Religion na scam when the shepherd dey chop the whole flock, whole flock
